COMPASION aid
We are Tim Kipper and John Roller. We are 21/22 years old and work in a fairly safe environment as designers. This looks very different when it comes to our friends who work as paramedics. Apart from saving lives, they deal with every kind of social interaction while being
exposed to the public.
This made us think: what if there were a helper for helpers?
Through our research with paramedics, we realized that help is not only needed in dangerous situations, but also in more pragmatic moments where every second counts. With Compassion Aid, we aim to support and assist paramedics in socially demanding situations.
(Independent project, 3 Month)
Compassion Aid is a wearable device to help paramedics in socially demanding situations.

05 How it works

06 App
The app connection allows Compassion Aid to transcribe speech live, which can be helpful when documenting patient data. With that, the app can select an available hospital. The app can also show different nearby units that paramedics can connect to (shown here).
